Mohamed H. Al-Mady
Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SABIC
Mohamed H. Al-Mady has been Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) since July, 1998. He joined SABIC in 1976 with a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wyoming, USA. He has held various key positions within the company.
Mr. Al-Mady also holds the following additional positions:
- Chairman and Managing Director, Saudi Arabian Fertilizer Company (SAFCO).
- Chairman, SABIC Europe B.V. Supervisory Board.
- Chairman, SABIC Innovative Plastics Supervisory Board.
- Fellow, London Business School.
- Member, International Advisory Council, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology.
- Member, International Advisory Board, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

Abdullah S. Nojaidi
SABIC advisor
Mr Nojaidi is advisor to SABIC since 2005. Until then, he was the vice president for petrochemicals at SABIC, with overall responsibility for the basic chemicals, intermediates, polyolefins, and PVC & polyester strategic business units. He moved into this role as part of the restructuring of SABIC's business in September 2002. Prior to this, he was executive vice president for planning and investment at SABIC and previously president of SABIC's worldwide marketing arm.
Homood Al-Tuwaijri
Vice-President, Corporate Control, SABIC
Before his current assignment, Mr. Homood Al-Tuwaijri was Vice-President of Petrochemicals Coordination. Prior to these assignments, Mr. Al-Tuwaijri was Vice-President of Corporate Finance, spearheading SABIC’s globalization drive and ensuring that its profits grew in a sustainable way.
Mr. Al-Tuwaijri graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a master’s in industrial engineering in 1983.
Mr. Al-Tuwaijri also holds the following positions:
- Former Member of the board of Directors, Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.
- Member of the Board of Supervisory directors, SABIC Innovative Plastics.
- Member of the Board of Supervisory Directors, SABIC Europe BV.
- Chairman of the Board, Al Jubail Petrochemical Company (Kemya).
- Chairman of the Board, Saudi Yanbu Petrochemical Company (Yanpet).
- Member of the Board of Directors, Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C (Alba).
- Former Chairman of the Board, Arabian Petrochemical Company (PETROKEMYA).
- Former Chairman of the Board, International Shipping and Transportation Company Ltd.
- Chairman of the Executive Steering Committee for SABIC’s Business Transformation Project (Fanar).
- Chairman of the Executive Steering Committee for SABIC Global Supply Chain Project (EMDAD).

Khaled Al-Mana
Vice- President, Polymers, SABIC
Mr. Khaled AlMana is a graduate of Bachelor of Engineering from Meiji University in Tokyo, Japan in 1984. He obtained his Master’s degree (Master of Science in Engineering) at the National Taiwan University, Republic of China in 1989. Currently he is the Vice President of SABIC Polymers, SBU.
Mr. AlMana joined Sabic Marketing Services and became the Regional Sales Manager for SABIC Singapore in 1993. He was assigned as Country Manager / Chief Representative of SABIC Far East Limited, Taiwan office in 1996. He became the General Manager of SABIC Far East Limited in Hong Kong in 1998, and eventually became the General Manager of Regional Headquarters, Sabic Asia Pacific Limited, Singapore in 1999.
Mr. AlMana returned to Saudi Arabia in 2002 to assume the position as VP, Chemical Intermediates. Formerly, he was Chairman of Sharq Board and Member of Hadeed and Scientific Design Boards. He currently serves as a Chairman of the Board for ARRAZI, is also member of SABIC Research and Technology (R&T) Executive Committee, VP for SABIC China Investments Activities, and Member of Sabic Europe Supervisory Board.
He can speak both Japanese and Chinese languages.
Ali Saed Al-Khuraimi
Vice-President, Manufacturing, SABIC
Mr. Al-Khuraimi is Vice-President of SABIC’s Manufacturing business unit.
Before working at SABIC's headquarters, Mr Al-Khuraimi held a number of positions at the Saudi Yanbu Petrochemical Company (YANPET) – one of SABIC’s joint-venture companies.
Mr Al-Khuraimi's other roles at SABIC include being President of the Consultant Committee, a board member of the Al-Jubail Petrochemical Company (KEMYA), a member of SABIC's Fanar Executive Committee and a member of SABIC's Overseas Studies Committee.
Mr Al-Khuraimi earned a BSc in applied chemical engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.
Yousef Al-Zamel
Vice-President, Chemicals, SABIC
Mr Al-Zamel is Vice-President of SABIC's Chemicals business unit. He is responsible for all Chemicals activities at SABIC.
Mr Al-Zamel was one of SABIC’s first employees, joining when the company was formed in 1976. In that time he has held various positions, and since 1998 he has been Group President of SABIC's fertilizers business. He has also been Vice-President of Marketing, General Manager at the Saudi Arabian Fertilizer Marketing Company (SANAPIK) and has held positions in SABIC's petrochemical, engineering, operations, and marketing departments – both in Saudi Arabia and the USA.
Mr Al-Zamel earned a degree in chemical engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 1976.
